What travellers are saying
- Georgie TClevedon, UK10 contributionsLovely day and gardens- all beautifully kept but far too few toilet facilities considering the huge number of visitors. The loos were very spread out so at various points there was a long walk and long queues. Also, on a hot day there could have been more cold drink stalls to avoid the queues too. But apart from that we had a fantastic day and will definitely go again. The Temperate House was incredible and we took the little 45 minute train tour- very informative. The rhododendron walk was very quiet and beautiful.Written May 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Almond Seyfriedegg2 contributionsRichmond Park is a lovely place to go to if you fancy a long walk. The Pembroke Lodge area is generally the one we frequent more often but it also seems to be the busiest area on account of the facilities available there - cafe, toilets, gardens. Warning though - it is exceedingly difficult to park there and the cafe is busy! The views in the vicinity are excellent - check out the viewpoints on the map and visit King Henry's Mound with a view of St. Paul's Cathedral. Otherwise, just stroll where your mood takes you and see the deer roaming freely.Written May 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kate ENassau, New Providence Island5 contributionsTook a private tour (just my husband and me) with Vic as our guide. She was so energetic and fun! It was great to go at our own pace through the town. There were so many great places included in the tour well beyond the pub and alleyway! We learned a lot about our favorite show and had a wonderful day. Highly recommend this tour!Written May 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Leon SNijmegen43 contributionsIf you are in Londen and you want to see, some truly amazing architecture and well restored quirky home, you really need to go to the Strawberry hill house and garden! Volunteers are very noledgable, very friendly and helpful.

Gardens a bit disappointing.Written October 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- James MChester, UK19 contributionsExcellent friendly atmosphere, although a tad expensive the bars have a fast service with lots of servers. - sheepygoldlondon5,332 contributionsUnfortunately we came too late for the spectacular azalea display but we still spent more than an hour wandering around the beautiful woodland finding splashes of colour all over the place.Written May 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KTP310Reading, UK1,186 contributionsThe performance of The Kite Runner was excellent - very moving and atmospheric. And the theatre itself is very good - our seats in the Dress Circle had a fantastic view of the stage, were comfortable and with good legroom. Tickets prices were excellent value for money.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- peacefullifeLondon, UK159 contributionsMarble Hill House is well worth a visit. It has a rich, interesting history. There is plenty to see and learn about. The house was refurbished in recent years and is a beautiful building. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Free entry to house. There is a charge for the car park although the car park is free to English Heritage members for 3 hours. There is a bus stop nearby. There are gardens to visit and a small cafe. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the grounds but not in the house. There are events on certain days, so you will need to check the website for details of these. Allow 2-3 hours for the house and grounds.Written September 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RedBaron91China16 contributionsThe Kew Palace is only open April - September. We went today in October and it was all closed up. What a pity! Other stuff was "out of season" and thus closed as well like the Pagoda which you can usually climb. The Japanese Garden was temporarily closed but not sure what the reason for that was.Written October 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
