King Friday XIII wants to play the bass in the opera. The zookeeper takes care of the animals. The organ grinder feels he is a failure and returns his monkey to the zoo. He gives his organ to the monkey’s uncle and tours the zoo with the zookeeper. The monkey’s uncle converts the organ to a popcorn maker. The organ grinder regains his confidence and accepts the zookeeper’s invitation to remain at the zoo. Back at the house, Mister Rogers encourages viewers to be creative by making up their own operas.
