Netflix's Ozark season 2 ended with the Byrdes opening a riverboat casino, which creates a legitimate front for their employer, the Mexican drug kingpin Omar Navarro (Felix Solis). Some old scores were settled as well, including the deaths of corrupt FBI agent Roy Petty (Jason Butler Harner) and Cade Langmore (Trevor Long), the father of Marty's right-hand woman Ruth (Julia Garner). Jason Bateman as Martin Byrde. In Ozark season 3, Marty still launders money for the Navarro drug cartel while overseeing their new casino. The Emmy-winning Bateman is famed for numerous roles like HBO's The Outsider but he's perhaps best known as Michael Bluth in Arrested Development.
Laura Linney as Wendy Byrde. Wendy implements her plan to help Navarro grow his legitimate businesses, which causes friction in her marriage. Linney is a celebrated, Oscar-nominated actress who won Emmys for her roles in Frasier, John Adams, and The Big C: Hereafter.
Sofia Hublitz as Charlotte Byrde. The eldest Byrde daughter now works for her parents' company Byrd Enterprises. Hublitz appeared on MasterChef Juniors and in Louie before getting cast in Ozark.
Skylar Gaertner as Jonah Byrde. The Byrdes' only son is happy his uncle Ben comes to stay. Gaertner played the young Matt Murdock in Marvel's Daredevil.
Julia Garner as Ruth Langmore. The clever and foul-mouthed Ruth runs the Byrdes' new casino, Missouri Belle, with Marty. Garner won an Emmy for playing Ruth in Ozark season 2 and she starred in The Americans and The Assistant.
Tom Pelphrey as Ben Davis. Ben is Wendy's troubled younger brother who she tries to keep from learning about the family business. Pelphrey played Ward Meachum in Marvel's Iron Fist.
Janet McTeer as Helen Pierce. Navarro's no-nonsense lawyer relocates to the Ozarks to work closely with the Byrdes. McTeer is an English actress who played Jessica's mother Alisa Jones in Marvel's Jessica Jones.
Lisa Emery as Darlene Snell. After killing her husband Jacob, Darlene tries to reignite her heroin business while raising her adopted baby Zeke. Emery also appeared in Fringe and Marvel's Jessica Jones.
Charlie Tahan as Wyatt Langmore. Estranged from his cousin Ruth, Wyatt tries to make his own way. Tahan has appeared in Wayward Pines and Gotham.
Jessica Frances Dukes as Maya Miller. Maya is the new FBI agent auditing Marty's casino. Dukes has appeared in New Amsterdam and Marvel's Jessica Jones.
Madison Thompson as Erin Pierce. Helen's rebellious daughter stays with her in the Ozarks for the summer. Thompson has appeared in NCIS: New Orleans and Kevin (Probably) Saves The World.
Joseph Sikora as Frank Cosgrove Jr. The son of the Kansas City mob boss is a thorn in Ruth's side. Sikora has appeared in True Detective and Power.
