I am very pleased to be with you today to talk about the changes taking place in our payment system and the wider financial system, driven by the advancing digitalisation of financial services. • Digitalisation has already profoundly altered practices in the payments sector: we are using cash less and less in day-to-day transactions as we turn to electronic solutions, such as cards.
