At Jones, it is very diverse and you see many different types of kids everywhere. The only bad thing I can think about Jones is that there are not many sports to do at the school. This school only supports volleyball, soccer, basketball, and cheerleaders. A good thing about the school is they have a lot of opportunities for you to figure out what you want to do in the future. They have a STEM program and opportunities dealing with this. They also have a health science department where the kids have a chance to discover what they want to do in health science. Jones provides many chances for you to visit different colleges and meet different people to help you with your future. They provide ways for you to sign up for colleges, trade schools, and scholarships. Jones also has a dual credit program for students to get their associate degrees and it is open to everyone that goes to Jones.
I have been at Jones since my freshman year which started online. The classes are okay and some teachers are very helpful. I think there should be some remodeling done and some employees fired.
The school is a great school in my opinion, but I wish it had more activities for the students. There isn't much sports or liberal arts.
The school here is overall amazing. The staff, the lessons, the students. There's nothing I've found that I dislike.
My overall time at jones was fun and interesting. Best parts is building a relationship with the teachers and students.
The worst is the amount of activity for the students to move around and participate in things that is fun

Jones offers health science courses and the option to obtain Associate Degree from Houston Community College (HCC). In addition, the school has a simulation lab with patient-mannequins. However, the curriculum does not provide or allow student - training hours in the lab.
I wish the school offered more SAT/ACT prep courses or resources for students to utilize while preparing to take the college admission exams.

I love the education aspect of the school. It has a great architecture program that made me want to major in architecture. The school also offers dual credit, which I am currently enrolled in. Thanks to that, I will graduate with my associates degree in 2021. The parent involvement is phenomenal. We have a parent group that are actively engaged in finding ways to better the students' experience at the school. The unity of the school is outstanding. Because it is a small campus, everyone is familiar with one another, allowing to interact more confidently with each other. However, I would like to see the school participate in more sports and clubs. Our school only has about 4-5 clubs and only started basketball. It could also use other student life improvements like a homecoming dance and other events that most schools have. I believe this will alter the high school experience every student is looking for. Overall, it is a great academic school.
I thought the high school was okay. It's very small and packed. It can sometimes seem boring and dull having to see the same colorless walls and yellow unused lockers but one can get used to it. Overall, nice teachers and staff.
I like how students from 10 grade can have HCC classes. The teachers help students in different ways for students who don't understand.
This school allowed me many opportunities such as an Internship for a company which later hired me. But it didn't feel like a high school experience, more like I was a elementary school student.
Jones is actually a very academically involved school. They focus more on your high school and college classes more than anything else. They make sure that you understand the things being taught, and if you don't, there are always other students who will help you. As far as sports, the school only has basketball, cheer, and soccer, but that's only because those are the only sports that a majority of the students play. Overall, the school is highly involved and will help you get to college.
The campus is very small, the teachers give us hands on help and because the classes are small there are more opportunities
Jones has been nothing but boring it has no sports and the teachers suck
however they do have a nice dual credit program but you have to work really hard to balance high school and college .

What i love about Jones Futures Academy is how they manage and give the students an opportunity to get an associates degree in nursing or in construction by taking Houston Community College courses in their junior year of high school to get advance and get out of college early. The teachers care about the students and they help us out to be better and successful in every step of the way.
Overall it's a good school and the teachers care about the students. It's like a family. it's a college readiness school and it is worth going here if you truly want to get some college expierence. It doesn't have sports , but they try to make it feel like a normal highschool.
The experience was terrible. We were suppose to receive a degree in applied Science and an LVN but they lied to us for three years. We are only getting a degree in Arts.
In all my four years, this school has helped me out a lot in improving myself and pushing to be a better student.
