Whether one agrees with the president or not, one should read “Liberal Privilege” before voting. And if one has already voted, it is still well-worthwhile to read this book by the president's oldest son because Donald Trump Jr. is a very intelligent man and a very interesting writer. He discusses the following, among very much else:
• The president shut down travel to the US to help hold back the deadly viral outbreak as soon as he heard about it. But Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and other democrats called it hysterical xenophobia. A month later Pelosi invited people to congregate in mass gatherings in Chinatown. Now, they say that he, not them, failed to recognize the danger of the virus.
• The president also immediately got companies to work on therapies and sent ventilators to the states.
• Joe Biden wants to eliminate coal and fracking, and reverse that President Trump made the US free of the need to get oil from elsewhere.
• Joe Biden had two aneurysms affecting his ability to think, making it difficult for him to speak, and causing him to say the wrong things. Such a person should not be in charge of the nuclear football.
• There are 16 pages of the worst Joe Biden misstatements. If all were included, this number would be multiplied.
• He called school integration “the most racist concept you can come up with.”
• He is against charter schools.
• He called Barack Obama “the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.”
• His pick for vice president called him a racist during the democratic debates.
• He promised to raise taxes and roll back the tax cuts.
• At least eight different women have alleged that he made them uncomfortable, touched them, sniffed them, or done something else inappropriate.
• He made female Secret Service agents uncomfortable by swimming in the nude.
• His son Hunter received $1.5 billion dollars, with a B, to be introduced to his father when he was vice president.
• The Ukrainian company Burisma paid Hunter $83,000 a month with no evidence that Hunter did work for them.
• His father Joe said he would withhold a billion dollars in aid to Ukraine if Ukraine did not fire the prosecutor who was investigating the corruption Hunter (and him?) was engaged in. So Ukraine fired the prosecutor.
• Hunter was not the only family member of Joe Biden involved in such actions. There is a total of four family members getting rich because Joe was vice president.
• Joe made it possible for China to control antibiotics and now 97 percent of antibiotics come from China.
• He wants free health care for illegals.
• He wants an end to cash bail.
• He wants sanctuary cities.
• He wants expanded welfare for immigrants.
• He wants unconditional amnesty for illegals.
• He wants the poor to move to the suburbs near the affluent.
In summary, these items are just a small selection of all that the president’s son reveals.
