I am an alumni from Workman High School and at this school I have many experiences that I cherish. At this school, I learned to not fear new learning experiences whether it was making new friends, trying out a new elective or even trying out for a sport. The diversity of this school and meeting new people shaped me into the person I am today. The friends that were either went a separate way from me or continue to be in my life I would like to thank. I'm very grateful towards them that took an important part in my life. I'm pleased to be the person that I am today which is a driven and goal centered person. Much of this is thanks to the friends I made but the school played a vital role in it too. This is because high school to me felt like a second home and Workman High school made sure to fulfill that. I hope the students that attend high school can see what an impact their friends will make in the future. Thank you friends.
Workman High School is a great small school, there are ups and downs. Winning sports games to losing sports games, having fun events to having some that are not so exciting. But overall, the staff is welcoming, the students are welcoming, you create bonds with new friends, and have a good overall high school experiences
I am a senior at Workman Highschool and my experience has been good. I have liked most of my teachers and the courses for the most part have been helpful. Of course, I don't think it has been perfect. Most of my bad experiences at Workman Highschool have been personal and related to friends, but some work and teachers have made life a little ore difficult. I do not think this school prepares us enough for college, this year I have gotten support, but I don't think it is all advertised the best or known to everyone. One thing I find bad about workman is that we don't have a library, not allowing students access to a library is insane to me. I would like the school to put more attention and care to the student on campus, simple things like free water, water dispensing stations instead of the water fountains, etc. I like this school because I have been at it for 4 years and have gotten this far, there are some good and bad things like any other school.
