Things have gotten awkward in Kourtney Kardashian’s comments, and we can’t help but cringe. The Lemme founder posted a sweet tribute to her late dad Robert Kardashian on Wednesday … in the United States. The sentimental post, which included two throwback photos of the father-daughter duo, marked a milestone birthday. Because on Feb. 22, the dad of four would have turned 80.
“What I would give to sing him Happy Birthday and hear one of his funny jokes just one last time,” she wrote. “He had the best sense of humor and made life so much fun, like every car ride, every meal, watching movies (we had a movie date every Wednesday night and he would show me an old movie each week)… he made it all so fun and special.”

In a comment that’s giving us major secondhand embarrassment, Kourtney’s sister Khloé Kardashian said, “The best daddy in the world!!! Tomorrow is his birthday ❤❤❤ he is our angel.”
Eek! The correction is making the internet cringe. To onlookers who don’t keep up with the Kardashians, it either seems like Kourtney got it wrong or like Khloé has a petty vendetta. Followers pointed out that for Kourtney — who is currently in Australia with husband Travis Barker for his Blink-182 tour — it was indeed her dad’s birthday.
Time zones, baby! She was living in “tomorrow.”
Sooo … did Khloé forget? Did she want to make a point for everyone still living through Feb. 21? Was this some weird dig? Was she trying to start something? Or was it just a poorly-worded comment on a day when the family is mourning? Eeek! We’d love to know what Kourtney thought of that. Followers were clearly not impressed:
“Wow, let me correct my sister who is on Australia time on this special day 🙄 Like why?”
“Why did that trigger you?”

Khloé’s Tribute
Khloé posted her own tribute to Robert — who died from esophageal cancer in 2003 — on what’s his birthday in her time zone.
“I will forever hold space for you,” she wrote over a touching montage of old family photos. “Happy birthday daddy 🤍 I love you 🕊️ thank you for everything 🤍 Every memory. Every lesson. Every laugh. Every ounce of love … I feel blessed that I was chosen to have 19 years with the most incredible Man I have ever known.”
Kris Jenner, ever the supportive mom, told her “bunny” this was a “beautiful beautiful” tribute. “you are such a special light for him … he loved you so completely …” she commented.
Kourtney has yet to say his birthday was actually yesterday.
