Warwick High School Reviews
Rating 3.45 out of 5 470 reviews
Warwick High School is an interesting school, to say the least. Due to poor management and admin, many of the best teachers have left for new better opportunities. This has led to a flood of overpopulated classrooms with under-trained new teachers. This has led to a less than pleasant experience.
My experience at Warwick has been overwhelmingly negative. The classes give homework similar to that of my middle school, while the IB courses are often nowhere near the rigorous level of surrounding IB schools. Teachers often grade extremely leniently. In my AP Stat class, students with almost no understanding of the subject ended up with a 97. Sports here are pretty good, with a solid football and cross-country team. The student body is not very involved, and most students are struggling to pass. As a school with 76% below median income, we need more resources to better lift up our students.
This school is absolutely horrible. Administrators are rather useless; they don't return calls or do their jobs. The bullying is out of control, racism is hight and half the kids walk in smelling like skunks. Daily weapons, fights and drug deals. The learning environment is non existent for anyone who actually wanta to try and learn. They can't even accommodate an IEP properly.
