Yannick D. Bisson is a Canadian actor best known for appearing in the main role of Detective William Murdoch in the drama ‘Murdoch Mysteries’ and as ‘Mr. Anthony’ in the children’s TV series ‘The Adventures of Napkin Man’. He is also known for appearing in lead roles in the drama series ‘High Tide’ and ‘Learning the Ropes’. The actor has appeared in recurring roles in the television programs 'Soul Food', 'Undergrads' and 'Falcon Beach' as well. He also guest-starred in several shows. On the big screen, Bisson has acted in the movies 'Toby McTeague', 'Velocity Trap', 'Casino Jack' and 'Another WolfCop'. Talking about his awards and honors, the Canadian actor received the ‘Canadian Screen Award’ under the category ‘Best Host in a Pre-School, Children's or Youth Program or Series’ for ‘The Adventures of Napkin Man.’ He also received the Fan's Choice Award at the event of the 2016 Canadian Screen Awards. Bisson was honoured with the ‘ACTRA Toronto Award of Excellence’ for his lifetime of work as well.
