Deering High School Reviews
Rating 3.84 out of 5 111 reviews
I had an amazing experience at Deering High School. Deering has amazing teachers who are always willing to help you with whatever challenges you might be facing because they want to see you succeed. I played volleyball and I love volleyball so much, being on the team everyone treats you like family because, at the end of the day, it is a team sport. There is no way you could win the game by yourself. The coaches are incredible, pushing me to because they see my potential. Parents have always been involved whether we had an away game and they would make sure we had pizza on the way back, making sure we had snacks for before and after our games. Overall Deering has shaped me into a wonderful, smart person. A girl who wants to create that bond with teachers, a girl who is ready to meet new friends but most importantly a girl who is willing to challenge herself and never give up on herself because the teachers at Deering never gave up on me.
Deering High School offers a diverse and engaging educational experience. Students benefit from a variety of academic programs, extracurricular activities, and a supportive community. The school's commitment to diversity fosters a rich cultural environment. However, challenges such as resource disparities and classroom sizes could be addressed for an even better experience. Students often appreciate the school spirit and dedicated teachers but may hope for improvements in infrastructure and expanded extracurricular opportunities. Overall, Deering High School provides a positive environment, but addressing specific areas for enhancement could further enhance the student experience.
This school is great if you put effort into getting into the top classes and connecting with teachers, other than that you won't do too good. The best part of this school was the connections to the teachers I made and how they cared about my learning. The worst part of this school was how could I pick.. admin: admin was disorganized, they cared it was just messy; rigor: the expectations in this school are very low and don't prep you that well for school. A lot of things were wrong with this school but a little work from you and an actual desire to learn will let you go far
