Why does the Microsoft home page come up in a different language

Hi I am trying to figure out why my Microsoft home page sometimes comes up in what I think is Russian. Up to a few days ago it has just been English. It comes and goes, I will close down edge reopen and it will be back to English. How do I keep it in English or has my computer been compromised?

Sign out and sign in back to the Microsoft Edge and check.

Also make sure Microsoft Edge v80 and later is installed as the Legacy Edge isn't being actively developed.

Hi Mark,

Reset failing is a known issue.

“Reset this PC” feature might fail
Using the “Reset this PC” feature, also called “Push Button Reset” or PBR, might fail. You might restart into recovery with “Choose an option” at the top of the screen with various options or you might restart to your desktop and receive the error “There was a problem resetting your PC”.

To resolve this, uninstall KB4524244:

Select the start button or Windows Desktop Search and type update history and select View your Update history.
On the Settings/View update history dialog window, Select Uninstall Updates.
On the Installed Updates dialog window, find and select KB4524244 and select the Uninstall button.
Restart your device.
Upon restart use the “Reset this PC” feature and you should not encounter this issue.
