- Edited 18 years agoThis one gets a high rating from me mainly on the basis of the Jedi Knights' mix of "Absorber". Coming not long after their debut in this guise on Clear, this was a very special track, taking the electro blueprint and twisting it with a combination of soft, rich production, a subtle darkness, and real depth of feeling, that leaves the listener, well, absorbed! A very special track and one which all fans of electro and breaks should hunt down.
The mixes of Bug Powder Dust are good too, I think the Chemical Brothers mix is the same one as credited to their earlier incatnation as the Dust Brothers (2) on 12BRW300, while Sandcastles is a downtempo vocal affair with a dubby feel.
