About 

At Kammerer Middle School, our primary focus is academic achievement. We offer the Distinguished Math Scholar Program for qualifying students. We also have the Advance, Honors, and regular program curricula. As you walk through the hallways and classrooms, you will notice the exciting, focused, and highly-structured student learning throughout the school. 

Kammerer provides many co-curricular student activities and offers a fine arts program that is recognized at the district and state levels. Our band, choir, and orchestra programs receive Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) Distinguished awards year after year. 

We have set a course of tradition at Kammerer. Students achieve because we adhere to our motto, “Excellence is the Expectation,” which applies to both our students and our educators.

Mission: The mission of Kammerer Middle School is to engage students of diverse backgrounds in culturally responsive and academically challenging learning environments where differences are respected and celebrated.
