A Scholars’ Mentorship Program success story, featuring Mackenzy McMorris ‘22 ‘24g
Today, SUNY New Paltz alumnus Mackenzy McMorris ‘22 (Finance; Black Studies) ‘24g (Business Administration) is a SUNY Chancellor’s Awardee and a tax technology consultant working for the Big-Four firm Deloitte. But just a few years ago he was new to our campus and trying to find his way at first-year Open House when he learned about the Scholars’ Mentorship Program for the first time.

SUNY New Paltz Reviews
However, this school has demonstrated an upsetting lack of care for its students. Over and over again, the school has put its own agenda of greed and self-image before the needs of its student body. In the last month, students have been put in danger via police brutality, threatened expulsion, had rights taken away, and now are being forced to have an altered graduation ceremony that was announced merely 4 days before grad. Regardless of your politics of beliefs, this is no way students of any college should be treated, and I am so disappointed that it’s here, at SUNY New Paltz, where it’s happening. I wish I could give a higher rating, but after what I’ve seen, I just can’t. I wish I went somewhere else.
