This manhwa has a bunch of misunderstandings but I'm glad that they slowly start to become fixed one by one. I feel super bad for both male lead and female lead. I just want them both to be happy together. Oh, and keep in mind that this story is not your typical soft romance fantasy manhwa. It's a lot more darker and tragic than you would expect it to be so look for something else if you want a more peaceful and fluffy manhwa. The art is also beautiful btw.

CONTAINS LIGHT SPOILERS I can't give a exact review at the moment since there are only 13chs and as I read other readers reviews, ml is being manipulated etc. but i am just wondering about afew things...no matter how much he got manipulated or whatever what if he has the same diseases as the CP coz their life styles are pretty similar? Also I don't care about him being a playboy before their marriage, but why would he let those women (those whom he is sleeping with) badmouth fl and talk shit about her? If he hated the idea of marrying her then maybe he could ask to break up? I don't get it really. I am sorry but I can only accept a cheating partner as the final love interest unless both sides have been doin it. I only want Emiliano back 😩

This Story is very intriguing in a way but at the same time I didn't enjoy reading it. Story I think this is a very intersting take on the "second chance" historical manhwas I read a lot. The story unfolds in a way that switches between the male lead's and the female lead's percpective as well as switching between different timelines. So at the beginning it's hard to tell why the FL behaves in such peculiar and cold manor until you slowly get to see her past. The plot itself actually isn't all that different from the other stories in this genre but the story telling was very well done and keeps you hooked in my opinion. On a more negative note though, so far (ch 24) this is basically a story about an extremely emotionally scarred women who's given up on happiness and marries an immature and cheating man in order to ultimately get divorced and achieve freedom. Although the story telling kept me hooked, the story itself is actually incredibly frustrating to read and so far there wasn't a single romantic/happy moment that had me smiling. Characters Which leads us to the characters... And, oh boy let me tell you, the male lead is a huge piece of work. At first I quite liked the fact that he wasn't just another black haired cold harded duke who's secretly a yandere when it comes to his woman and his entire personality is based around the female lead. He felt a lot more human than that in a way. But after a while I started thinking... Mayyybe this man is actually just a huge piece of human garbage. '-' In the 17 years he's engaged to to our fl he doesn't care about her at all and rather tries to push back the wedding as far as possible by any means. During this time he seems to have sex with any woman possible who additionally slander the fl for being a prude and boring woman. Until... UNTIL HE SUDDENLY HAS A SEX DREAM ABOUT HER AND CAN'T GET A BONER FROM ANYONE ELSE ANYMORE SO HE SUDDENLY RUSHES TO MARRY HER WITHIN 2 WEEKS. -__- Just let that sink in for a moment... Are we in some kind of H-Manga solely catering to the male audience all of a sudden?!? And even after the marriage all he seems to care about is having sex with the fl... '-' '-' How tf is this her romantic interest??? So far his major character traits are: womanizer, horny boy, jealous for no reason, arrogant I don't think I would hate him as much if it at least weren't for the fl repeatedly having experienced rape and miscarriages before time traveling. (Trigger warning btw) But because of that, the fact that he just tries to push her into bed at any chance he gets and her going along with it so that they can live peacefully until they divorce later on is just.. painful to watch. She doesn't seem to hate it but at the same time as a reader you can't help but wonder wether she's just too numb at this point to even give a damn about wether she enjoys having sex with him or not. And also, since our fl is obviously incredibly mature for her age bc of her past experiences, it kind of feels like a grown ass woman trying to go along with the whims of a horny teenage boy who's only interested in her body. Haaa... how am I supposed to look forward to a romance develpping between these two?? Especially when she already met that incredible sweetheart in her past life. 😢 I'd rather see a love story between her and Emiliano.  Well apart from that, I'd say the fl and ml are the only actually interesting characters so far and I don't like their character dinamic at all. (Which is basically collected girl meets horny boy). I am intersted in seeing how the fl might change or carry out her plans in the future, though. She kind of feels interesting like the dephts of the ocean that you can never truly grasp. But I really don't know if I want to continue reading this in the hopes of both of the protagonists suddenly turning a new leaf. To be fair though, I have read other people saying that ultimately this dinamic/the ml's character are all wanted by the fl to achieve her goals or smth along those lines. But as far as I've read at least, I really don't like the ml. Art The Art wasn't anything too special but it was definitely well done and nice to look at.
