MIKROTIK ROUTERBOARD VIA WINBOX
Guys please assist me, so my client complained slowness and disconnection at time to time but before was just working fine as you can all see on the photo ether 1 that is where it supplies to other ports/ether 2-5 , but when i was trying to investigate ether 3 and 4 which are the cables connecting the cameras they were having a very high latency where as we give them a 10M limit but it peeks to 35M on ether 3 and 4 checked the cables were just fine
What's the actual question though? When you say high latency on cameras, what does that actually mean. Plenty of IP cameras have dogshit apps with mega delay on stream. Like 1000ms+
My english is a bit poor you can check on the photo for more details, so my question can be put in this way , as normal mikrotik problems they tend to be weak on terms of connectivity as time passes after you first install them so before the router was supporting just fine internet never had an issue but recent days it disconnects on the devices or it gets very slow, mind you it is not far plus the required speed is always tested and reaches the desired speed
The photo tells me nothing though, just a bunch of very ordinary traffic.
They do not “degrade”.
Not sure if you've got enough up, but I believe you are just not interpreting the information correctly. You may have a limit but that 30mbps is internal traffic between ether 2 and 3. You can have all the limits you want on ether 1 it won't affect internal traffic. You can torch either 2 or 3 to see for yourself.
Show us the configuration. It's impossible to understand what is going on without it.
