Johann Georg von Brandenburg

When Johann Georg von Brandenburg was born on 11 September 1525, in Spree, Niederschlesischer Oberlausitzkreis, Saxony, Germany, his father, Joachim II Hector von Hohenzollern, Elector of Brandenburg Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, was 20 and his mother, Maria Magdalena Wettin Dutchess von Sachsen, was 18. He married Sofie von Liegnitz on 15 February 1545, in Legnica, Lower Silesia, Poland. They were the parents of at least 1 son. He died on 18 January 1598, in his hometown, at the age of 72, and was buried in Mitte, Berlin, Germany.
