Mope.io Beta, also known simply as Beta, is a game mode in Mope.io that is used for previewing upcoming updates, new game modes and other unreleased features. It can be accessed at http://beta.mope.io, although most of the time it can only be played by Developers. Originally it was added on May 26, 2018.
General info[]
- The gameplay logistics are essentially the same as Mope.io itself; survival of the fittest and making your way up the food chain.
- However, beta often has new features, and was a replacement for the former Sandbox mode. As such, there is no set theme for beta, except for upcoming features that will eventually be added in-game, so that they can be reviewed and any bugs can be removed.
- Normal Mope.io is sometimes referred to as 'Live Mope' in contrast to Beta.
- When undergoing large updates, beta's content can sometimes be blanked/removed.
- Coin gain is disabled, and it's impossible to log into an account as of 2022.
Current status[]
- Beta is inaccessible to non-developers as of May 24, 2024. If the player attempts to enter the site, they will be met with a popup to enter a username and password.
- Only the developers have the proper username and password and thus only they can access Beta as of now.
