People usually know where you stand, stalwart Bull. But if you’ve been hovering on the periphery of a group, its members may start to question your commitment. There’s no need to run for a board position to show how dedicated you are. Just try being more present so everyone knows you’re all in. Show up at the gatherings or meetings, offer your suggestions, initiate discussions and stay in closer touch on social media. On the other hand, if you’re not sure this crew is a good fit for you, make a graceful exit so you don’t seem like a dabbler or opportunist.
