My high school career has been an interesting one. I am a biracial student so i had things a little different with the fact that barely anyone looked like me. I did face a lot of racism as well. The diverse part was not good at all. But they do send us to a technical school half the day so that’s a nice opportunity. I am currently a NTHS member with steel enter as well. The food here isn’t all that great either. But the teachers i have grown close with and have helped me a lot. So overall i would say the school needs work but it has potential.
I think our school physically is very dated. Our school food is awful, so much so I won’t eat it. We don’t have ac and have to come in even when other schools are closed due to the heat. I think we have a lot of good AP classes available for math, english, and sciences, but more should be available for things such as arts. Also, I believe our schedule could be altered to better benefit students sleep, as science proves it’s better to start later in the morning for teens.
It went well but it is time for new ideas and that included administration. They are never truly orangized by any means and it costs their students.
