House, an acerbic infectious disease specialist, solves medical puzzles with the help of a team of young diagnosticians. Melinda Beck Wall Street Journal The episode is both a bridge to the new season and a brilliant stand-alone feature film, with a new cast, a new set and glimpses of a new House as his defenses finally crack. Mar 18, 2019 Full Review Zack Handlen AV Club House's unwillingness to deal directly with his patients has always set this series apart from other medical shows. Rated: B Feb 6, 2019 Full Review Alan Sepinwall Newark Star-Ledger This is the best "House," and its leading man, have been in a long time. Sep 21, 2009 Full Review Brendan Bettinger Collider Even though "Broken" promised a change in House that was more told than shown, its utter greatness as a standalone film sustained my interest through the ups and downs of the remainder of season six. Apr 3, 2020 Full Review James Chamberlin IGN Movies After seeing the season six premiere, I'm honestly happy to see that things may be improving for House, not just the character, but the show as well. Rated: 9.2/10 Mar 18, 2019 Full Review Adam Fendelman HollywoodChicago.com In the undeniably worth-your-time two-hour FOX premiere of season six of House M.D, Golden Globe winner Hugh Laurie instead shatters his M.O. by admitting his addiction to the narcotic painkiller Vicodin. Bronco 1 Very good season after a great season five! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review S. S One of the best TV shows ever made. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/29/23 Full Review Audience Member This season contains one of my favourite episodes of this show, in which we can see other character's perspective, and that adds immensely to the plot. It's a very awkward, but still great progression to the story and it serves well to strengthen and deepen the relationships that make the show great. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review steve d It is losing a bit of steam but it is still a lot of fun. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Compared to the other seasons of House, this seems like a bigger letdown, we all awaited the moment to see how long it will take for House to go too far, and the first few episodes have shown it very well. However, as the season progressed, we started to lose the feeling and idea that House has come all this way to get where he is right now, his character has been completely all over the place, especially in such a character focused season, the writers could've done a better job with this. Along with that, the general episodes and cases seem too boring and general, only being used as a stand-in for the House plot and how he is growing as a character, which is straying away from the original idea of House. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member The down low and 5 to 9 are perfect episodes. Wilson, ignorance is bliss, and remorse are also great.
