An Episcopal bishop (David Niven) has been working for months to raise money for an elaborate new cathedral, but is losing sight of his family and of why he became a churchman in the first place. His prayer leads to an angel (Cary Grant) being sent to assist him, but he becomes jealous of his new assistant's popularity with everyone around him, including his wife (Loretta Young). Based on the novel by Robert Nathan.

Today was the 1st day I could watch this beautiful film. Although watching it over the years [in black & white] was enjoyable - today, watching your colorized version has left me totally in tears. I am still sobbing as I write this. Your colorization brought these wonderful actors to life for me. I don't know how much more I need to say. This film came alive for me. . . thanks to you.
