Just pointing out that by giving eldermaul a spec bar, jagex is making insta-maul from elder smack possible. No armour/pure pking just got a lot more dangerous.

Also, if they give the spec a 50% more damage stat like dwh’s spec does, elder maul spec will be able to hit a 100 in max gear in pvp.
They arent adding 50% more damage for this reason
Yeah that would be busted…. Some giga chad in torva could spec a 100-51 in pvp with elder gmaul. Not to mention the defence would be lowered for the gmaul spec.
I'll sit there in my monk robes at 121 hp and veng'd with auto retaliate on. ty for the torva.

Not a pker but I’m pretty sure you cant. Without a spec bar you have to wait an extra tick for the spec bar to show up before double mauling. Unless you’re using a cheat client. Thats why somebody doing rcb into insta double maul is conclusive evidence of cheating

Not a pker, so just went and tested it myself. You can’t elder smack into insta double maul with the orb. You can do a normal double maul spec from elder smack but not insta spec. You need a weapon with a spec bar to insta maul
