Seahawks vs. Giants Inactives Tonight: Injury Report and Starting Lineups for Monday Night Football

Who are the NFL inactives for the Monday Night Football matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants in Week 4?

Monday Night Football closes out Week 4 with the Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants at MetLife Stadium. The Giants should be well rested after having 10 days off after playing the San Francisco 49ers to complete a two-game West Coast trip. New York has one huge name in the injury report: Saquon Barkley, who is doubtful with an ankle injury.

Seattle, meanwhile, gets a big boost from their safety. Jamal Adams is off the injury report and back on the field after a long recovery from a leg injury he suffered last September. The Seahawks have a number of players listed on the injury report.

From the current NFL standings to team depth charts to coverage of every game in the 18-week NFL schedule, we have all the news from around the league to keep you up to speed!

Latest Injury Report News and Updates

Barkley is doubtful to play with an ankle injury he suffered in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals. The Giants played without him last week in a 30-12 loss against the San Francisco 49ers.

Matt Breida filled in for Barkley and rushed for 17 yards on four carries with a touchdown, but New York only rushed 11 times for 29 yards against the tough 49ers defense. Thomas missing the game will add another challenge to the run game.

The big injury news for the Seahawks is that Adams will make his season debut. He hasn’t played since injuring his leg in the season opener last season.

In fact, since being acquired by Seattle in a 2020 trade with the New York Jets, Adams has missed 25 games. He has also missed time with shoulder, groin, elbow, and finger injuries over the last three seasons. At one point, Adams said he considered retiring because of the number of injuries.

The rest of the injury report for the Seahawks could test the team’s depth on both sides of the ball. The starting offensive line is banged up heading into the game, with tackle Charles Cross doubtful with a toe injury and center Evan Brown questionable with a quad injury.

The Seahawks’ secondary is in bad shape, with cornerbacks Tre Brown and Artie Burns already ruled out. Cornerback Coby Bryant is also doubtful with an injured toe. Meanwhile, starting defensive end Dre’Mont Jones, linebacker Derick Hall, and Will Dissly are all questionable.
