Three decades after the last call at Cheers, Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson are reuniting for a podcast. Titled Where Everybody Knows Your Name with Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson (Sometimes), the weekly podcast will feature the two actors as they welcome special guests to "dig beyond the career highlights and into the stuff of life that makes" people who they are. The podcast, from SiriusXM and Team Coco, will feature an impressive list of guests, including Jane Fonda, Laura Dern, Martin Short, Eric Andre, Will Arnett, Kristen Bell, Simu Liu, Megan Mullally, Nick Offerman, Conan O'Brien, and Mary Steenburgen.

According to the podcast's announcement, "while listeners can expect some fond reminiscences of their time on Cheers, the show will mostly serve as a freewheeling exchange of laughter and wisdom as the charismatic duo reconnect both with each other and with the talented friends they've made throughout their incredible careers."

"Though I've always dreaded small talk at a cocktail party, I've found that it is a genuine privilege to sit down with someone for a deep, uninterrupted conversation," Danson said in a statement. "With this podcast, we'll do just that. And that I get to do it with Woody, my dear friend of many decades, is the cherry on top of the sundae."

Harrelson added:

"The best part about doing this podcast is that it's given me an excuse to hang out with Ted. Sure we'll talk with interesting guests, and sure we'll share some laughs along the way, but the biggest win will be rekindling our romance, I mean friendship, after all this time."

Cheers is one of the most celebrated sitcoms of all time, but did you know that a lot of now-famous actors appeared on the TV show?

Both actors have maintained successful careers since Cheers' 1993 conclusion (both actors reprized their roles for separate episodes of Frasier). Danson's acclaimed work includes projects like Damages, The Good Place, and Becker. Harrelson has found success with celebrated films like The People vs. Larry Flynt, The Messenger, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and Game Change, and HBO's True Detective. Danson recently appeared in the final season of Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm. Harrelson last starred in Suncoast and has two upcoming films this year, Fly Me to the Moon and Last Breath.

Hopes of a Cheers return have intensified since Frasier returned (and headed back to Boston) and much of the Cheers cast reunited for a presentation during the 75th annual Emmy Awards (Harrelson was absent as he was doing a play in London). While Danson has shot down a series revival, this new venture will surely excite the popular series' fans.
