I was slightly disappointed. I have been looking forward to seeing Hampton court for year. Just too much history to pass up. After several trips to London, I made a specific point to get to Hampton Court this time. It is not easy to get to. Glad I checked this one off the list, and might go again- but not at the top of the list.

I’ve been many times to Thorpe park/Alton towers over many years and was so excited for Hyperion, so was gutted to hear it was closed already. The upside was that the park was quite quiet so I suppose most people rebooked!

    Pros:
    - ride times were no longer than 30/40 mins on a half term sunny day!! Most much less. Brilliant!
    - toilets were mostly clean and good facilities overall
    - wasn’t as filthy as people made out on this visit
    - gardens and plants seemed well looked after
    - nice to see vegetarian options
    - most queues had some shade but could do with a bit more
    - swarm was ace!
    - quite quick to get in
    - love how compact it all is, everything quick to get to unlike Alton towers
    - lots of improvements on rides for eg walking dead is better than it was with X no way out with more theming etc!
    - staff were super efficient at making everyone move quickly on and off rides
    - There were some ride closures throughout the day but most came back up after a short while.
    - also super appreciate the accessibility guide on the app and other considerations like gender neutral bathrooms, anti harassment signs etc!

    Cons:
    - car parking is £10 extra which seems cheeky, food is expensive!
    - needs more shadey seat options that for resting/eating outdoors
    - I didn’t ride the VR version, and understand there were issues with the headsets (which I assume was why it was changed up,) but the whole ghost train concept was bizarre! So much more could be done with better masks on the scarers, projections on train windows maybe of ghosts or moving images so it looks like we’re on a metro? What was the bit in the chapel with the clog wearing air punch person? The actors did great (and must be knackering) but they needed more help with costumes or special effects to be scarier. I just sat there laughing and usually find interactive horror things very scary!

    - I’m glad Hyperion was down in a way - it surely isn’t finished! What a stark contrast the coaster area is vs Swarm with the trashed vehicles, steam, loud SFX, coaster going through the destroyed billboard etc or Alton Towers Wicker man with amazing wood coaster and ram sculpture and fire, the classic Nemesis with the gnarly red alien rivers (or any other major coaster) for example. It feels like they ran out of money by the time the theming came around. Hyperia is supposed to be ‘the daughter of a river god’, and there is no water feature, nothing naturesque, it’s just white and gold coloured with some very low-key B&Q trees saplings planted!! It looks more like a fancy newly built car sales court with a coaster plonked on top. Queues looked very basic too. Considering it’s such a huge launch and coaster itself will likely be great, it’s just soulless and lacklustre. Please put more effort into the theming - you’re a theme park after all and many of us value that just as much as the rides themselves. Your parks are nostalgic for me as I’ve been going my whole life with many fond memories so I am hoping it’ll be improved in these areas in future and that this isn’t a sign of the times!

I bought a Concorde Silver experience for my adult daughter for a special birthday and having followed Concorde throughout it’s flying years this was ideal as the day was dedicated to the plane whilst allowing some time to visit other exhibits at the museum. The experience not only included talks by ex Concorde pilots Terence Henderson and Neil Rendal but a stationary ‘flight’ on the aircraft itself with a glass of bubbly in hand but a session in the simulator in the Co-pilot’s seat ‘flying’ the plane into one of four destinations. As the guest to this part I was allowed to watch my daughter in the simulator and take pictures/videos of it to enhance her memories of the day. It was a memorable day for us both.

We’re looked after by Todd, he was very attentive and got us drinks whilst we waited to start the driving.

Our driving instructor was nice and made us feel relaxed.

Todd also met us after the driving and saw us out,

This was our 2nd visit to Wisley Gardens (we live in the Midlands) to see the 'Wisteria Walk', our first visit was last year and this year's display was just as spectacular. There are an abundance of staff who keep these gardens looking immaculate. We only wish that we lived closer as we would most definitely take out memberships so that we could spend more time there and experience the different seasons. The only downside is the poor selection of food in both the garden shop cafe and the restaurant and the extortionate cost of both venues.

Had a good catch up with family but couldn't believe the prices for food and drinks in the hotel ...a pint was dearer than the top hotels in London.... simply exploiting a captive audience.

Theme park was good but food (fish woeful

What a fabulous place to visit.Apparently there's around 600 sculptures to see.Entrance fee was well worth it.We loved this place. We spent around 2 hours just wandering around taking it all in.Most of the sculptures are for sale and if I had the money and of course the space I would have bought a couple. The park doesn't have a cafe but there is a pub across the road with a lovely beer garden. If were ever in the area again we will definitely pay another visit.

Another fantastic visit to the farm with my kids (9 and 5 years). Half term was superhero week and it didn’t disappoint! So much to do, staff were wonderful and very little queuing. Thanks to all the team, always a great day out x

The house was bought be Lady Grenville to entertain her Royal and other high society grinds at the start of the last century. The rooms that were open to see in the house were stunning, however quite a large number of the others were taken up with artwork displays and others such as the bedrooms upstairs could only be viewed on prebooked tours with very limited numbers. I do feel the NT could do more to give their customers a better feel of Lady Greenville’s life and those of her friends.
There are also gardens a large children’s play area, as well as extensive grounds to walk around.

Very sweet place to visit. Lovely to spend some time enjoying our own native British species.

You are free to walk around as you like, but the best way to see the animals is to go to the talks. This way the animals are out and engaged in feeding. The staff give lovely talks about the animals.

The habitats are grassy green and the animals look very happy and healthy. Obviously some of the animals are nocturnal but if you are lucky you can still see them. We were able to see the badgers sleeping in a darkened cave like tunnel. You would never normally be able to get this close to a badger, but as the tunnel was dark they were perfectly happy and sleeping totally unaware that they were being looked at.

There is a good cafe and a separate little snack bar. Sandwiches, cakes, jacket potatoes, sausage rolls, pasties, crisps etc. You can also bring your own food to eat in the outdoor picnic area.

An interesting selection of aircraft, engines and information. Very helpful staff and volunteers were on hand to inform and answer questions. Each had an interesting tale to tell about their association with aircraft and were clearly passionate about the subject.

Lovely gardens and the Restaurant and shop were impressive. Staff friendly and food good and service. Toilets super but extremely noisy from all the hand driers.
Road signs to get there were dreadful and car parking extortionate.

Incredible amazing place and lovely team

We took our dad for his 90th birthday for a walk and picnic to Alice Holt today. A place with many happy memories for him taking his grandchildren with our mum for many outings, scrambles and picnics

Thank you so much for all the work you have done to enable access for people in wheel chairs. We salute you!

The two ladies on reception were fantastic so welcoming

Please pass on our heart felt thanks for making dad's 90th so fabulous.

Just completed the 8 mile Box Hill Hike and my feet and knees are still in recovery! It's a gorgeous walk, but there are very steep climbs up (including uneven steps) and very steep climbs down into the valley. The whole walk is very well signposted and other walkers are very friendly and helpful at pointing you in the right direction. It was a challenging walk and definitely needed walking boots and sticks to remain steady on uneven surfaces. The cafe at the end was a treat after such a long walk... As was the Running Horses pub at around 2.5miles.

This is definitely worth a visit. It is the old Guildford Union Poor / Work House. The tour is guided and gives a fascinating insight into early Victorian help for the poor and destitute. Our guide, Pauline was excellent and there is a short film shot inside the building which is worth a visit in itself.

    Highly recommended
