Welcome to the John Adams College and Career Academy
At the new John Adams College & Career Academy, students will connect learning with their passions and professional aspirations to prepare for their future—whether that means college, a career licensing program or other post-secondary options. With an innovative, technology-rich learning environment at their fingertips, JACCA students will have the tools to explore career opportunities and various pathways to college.
JACCA students will:
Participate in the AVID program, where they will receive the additional academic, social, and emotional support that will help them succeed in rigorous courses
Explore a variety of careers and map out a personalized career pathway plan for their 4-year experience
Shadow professionals working in high-demand fields for skilled and talented people
Research and visit colleges and universities and prepare to apply and succeed
Have the option to engage in one of three pathways: Information Technology, Law & Social Justice, or College & Career
An emphasis on experiential learning, college exploration and opportunities to obtain career credentials will ensure that JACCA students graduate confident and well-prepared for the next steps in their educational and professional journeys.
