I was truly honored to attend Clare High School. In all honesty, I would always be the first student to arrive in the morning and the last to leave in the afternoon. I developed great connections with nearly all of the teachers that I had, and was always excited to attend every day. The environment was seldom negative or bad, and the faculty and staff were always caring and considerate from my personal experiences. Additionally, I learned a ton from a majority of the classes I had, inspiring me to continue with my education into post-secondary schooling. I firmly believe that while we are a small school, we still were able to create an environment where we were massive and prepare students for the much bigger world we were just beginning to enter by our senior year. For me personally, Clare helped create the incredible personality and traits that I have today. It was truly my sanctuary of happiness during the time, and I am really blessed and grateful I had the opportunity to attend.
My experience at Clare High school has been a good one. I came here my junior year. Moving from a big school to a much smaller one is an adjustment, but I have made some very good friends during my time here. My favorite part is going to games with friends. The only bad thing that I have experienced here is the school food and having to take exams.
I really enjoy most of the teachers at Clare High School. However, the school does have its flaws. I’m a very athletic person but since I’ve entered High School I’ve dropped all of my sports that I used to be really good at, had a passion for, and I could’ve played in college, due to the fact that if you’re name was well known around the town, or, you were a teachers kid, no matter how good you were or not, you play ALL. THE. TIME. It’s supper annoying and it’s made me quit each sport that I really enjoyed growing up with. The school also puts all of its money into the sports, and we’re not even that good.
