Blanchard, James "Jim" Frederick (88), Edina and Phoenix, passed away on July 10, 2022. Jim was an avid golfer, hunter, bowler, and fisherman. Before retiring in 1994, he owned Feist-Blanchard Co., an automotive parts warehouse in Mpls. He retired from the Navy Reserve as a Captain in 1979 after 23 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Cora Jane Blanchard. He leaves behind three children, Diana (Dave) Wright, Sam Blanchard, Elizabeth Fischer; five granddaughters, Danielle Brown, Shannon (Andy) Timmer, Tara Fischer, Lyla and Violet Blanchard; one great grandson, Smith Timmer. Services to be held at Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel, 1 Federal Dr, Fort Snelling, on July 27, 2022. Visitation at 11am and service at noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Kidney Fund, American Red Cross, or a charity of your choosing.
