The Top Secret Dossier goes into detail regarding the Gorgonites' origins, listing multiple worlds on a simplified star chart.

The Gorgonites' Homeworlds[]

ā€œSix proud worlds make up the Gorgon Dimension. Each is home to a unique race of creatures. Although technically primitive, the Gorgonites are highly advanced both intellectually and spiritually. Above all, the Gorgonites seek peace through knowledge. Their quest is to learn what motivates all who come in contact with them.

In their quest for knowledge, however, the Gorgonites have ventured far from home. Beyond the Gorgon Dimension are many new lands, where the Gorgonites' monster-like appearance has caused them to be reviled by more belligerent races. Reluctantly, the Gorgonites have been forced to learn means of self-defenseā€•even violent means.

And so the Gorgonites' quest continues. By mastering new skills, they hope to attain their ultimate goal: to return to the Land of Gorgon, where they and all creatures can live together in peace.

The Planets[]

Gormentia[]

A red planet, not unlike Mars; known for its violent, volcanic activity. Home to a race of malformed humanoids, notably including Insaniac.[1]

Niptuck[]

A reddish planet with two ringsā€•one blue, one yellow; known for its lush plains, mild savannahs, and marshes. Home to a race of elephant-like humanoids, and a race of two-legged heads, notably including Punch-It and Scratch-It respectively. The two races have developed a symbiotic relationship over the centuries, suggesting one is rarely seen without the other.[1]

Ponkus Tre[]

A grey planet with a large, orange ring; known for its mountains and temperate climate. Home to a race of troll-like humanoids, notably including Slamfist.[1]

Scintilak[]

A small, grey planet; known for its crystalline geography and geosynchronous orbit of the sun. Home to a race of creatures with three legs, sucker toes, and a singular, large, stalked eye; notably including Ocula.[1]

Trigonia[]

A large, yellow planet; known for its forests and cold atmosphere. Home to a race of vaguely feline humanoids, notably including Archer.[1]

Wolderkhan[]

A small, blue planet; known for its arid deserts and cool climate. Home to a race of blue humanoids, notably including Troglokhan.[1]

"Gorgon"[]

The Land/Isle of Gorgon is a mythical sanctuary where all Gorgonites can live together in peace and harmony. Having ventured far from their original planet, they now seek to return, but its location is lost to them.[1]

Depending on the source, Gorgon is either described as an island utopia (Top Secret Dossier) or their home planet (Small Soldiers (PS1)). Given that each Gorgonite race comes from their own distinct planet, the existence of a unifying mother-world may be metaphorical even within their fictional universe. Alternatively, the varied Gorgonite species could be descendants of a single race that came from Gorgon many millennia ago. Ultimately, the only reliable information given comes from Irwin's marketing material in the Dossier, with any deeper meaning up to interpretation.
