While I found the crime and law enforcement aspects of these books to be really exciting, I became annoyed by the romance angle. Enough, already! Ugh, stop with the lip-biting and mooning over each other. Like high school kids. And, when Caitlin’s Dad was sick for months, no one did anything? I correctly guessed what the health problem was, but no one in that family or even the annoying hot doctor could tell what was going on?? It was a little jarring how compressed the Marshall training was, as well, when all of a sudden, all those months had gone by and Caitlin was a Marshall, and still no one had done anything about her Dad’s health.
