Spent one night in a basic 2nd floor motel room in the main building. Room looked pretty much exactly as in some of the photos but the bathroom was far from modern. I guess some are renovated. But it was clean and functional. Bed was firm. Can't speak to the pool or hot tub, or the garden, never went to the back buildings. If you need somewhere to stay in this area at a good price then this works. Free parking, mini fridge, micro wave, flat screen, in room coffee maker, individual soaps and shampoo. Everything you'd expect from a big name hotel chain. Brown bag with a muffin and juice to go with coffee available mornings at the office. Good value.

My husband and I recently sent 11 days at the Newmarket Inn while our home was being cleaned due to smoke damage. While not fancy, our huge room was a welcome sight at the end of each day. We had an efficiency suite (unit 62) which had a small stove/oven, bar fridge and microwave. We also had a kitchen table with four chairs as well as a pull out sofa and occasional chairs. A king sized bed completed the room. There are laundry facilities on site as well as a beautiful heated indoor pool. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly. Anyone looking for clean, basic accommodations in the Newmarket/Bradford area would be well advised to check out the Newmarket Inn.

We travel to Newmarket frequently and had never stayed there. So we thought we would try it and you know what it is o.k. clean, gardens are beautiful, beds are comfy, they have a in door pool and other facilities as well. We were only disappointed in one thing and that was they gave us room over the pool area and there is no elevator, now a few years ago no problem but my wife and I are in our late sixties with health issues and that was tough getting everthing up to the room. You would have thought about our age and the stairs and made a better judgement on the room assignment, but I guess I could have went back and asked to be changed to something on the ground floor, anyway no harm no foul. Nice to stay in a pinch. wouldn,t go out of my way to book there again.

Hello Thank you for your comment about your recent stay to our Inn. We pride ourselves as having nice clean and comfortable rooms for our guests with country atmosphere. We do have rooms located on the main level as well as on the second level accessible by stairs. If it was noted or mentioned at time of reserving, we would have reserved the appropriate room for you and also would have changed your room had you mentioned that to us. We visited maybe just over a month ago. I regret not letting them know they have a major ant problem. The room was nice until we found out the room had ants and also no microwave. I do regret not letting them know about the ant problem until now

We are very sorry. if you called the office we would have been more than happy to change your room. Just to let you know, rooms above the pool are undergoing bathroom and vanity reonovations, they look modern and beautiful, so maybe you can give us another chance. I just came back from staying at this hotel, my stay was fine until i check out and the lady send the maid to check the room before i can check out, the maid tells her someone was smokig in my room (not true) so she investigates herself and says we smell smoke in the room someone smoked there. After argueing for 20 minutes and being late to work because of this she tried to charge 50$ more because she smelt smoke. She was very rude because we were younger guys i believe, as we were in town for work. Next on fault of my own, i left something in my room and as soon as i get home I call them immedietly, the phone has been busy for over an hour and a half and still trying to get ahold of them. I may not see my item again... I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone due to the poor customer service you will recieve. …

Hello Shane Thank you for your comment. Our Policy is to check any and all rooms that are non smoking that may have an odor of smoke after our guests leave. The room smelled of smoke, it was double checked like we always do, and you were not charged. . The Game Station that was left behind was retrieved and I personally had it shipped to you, on my own time, a few days after your departure. You had trouble getting a hold of us, as I explained in my email to you, because our Internet, Cable and Phone provider was down in the area due to a traffic accident. I did reply immediately to your email and phone call the next morning to explain this. At that time, we made arrangements to get your property back to you. I stayed here for 2 nights for a family visit. It was very clean, very cozy, and so very relaxing. The staff made you feel right at home, and did everything they could to make your stay the best it could be. Very accommodating! I would highly recommend staying here, as it's clean, staff are courteous and the price is fantastic!

I was in need of a reasonably-priced room to stay locally over night following an event and found this was the best price for what I needed, so I booked their Two Queen Bed Non Smoking room. When I checked in service was friendly and sincere. The lady attending the counter answered a couple of questions I had, in particular one I had about towels as I usually use more than one set of hotel towels during any stay. She told me the room had 2 sets, but if I did need any more, to just call down to the front desk and they'd look after me. She also told me about their complimentary continental breakfast in the front lobby every morning, something I didn't notice on their website, so I thought I'd mention that they have this available as well. I went into my room and not only did the room appear to be very clean, it was easy to breathe, too (I have allergies), so I knew it had been regularly dusted and vacuumed. The washroom amenities were also clean. I realized I did need to check some email and since I didn't bother taking the WiFi password from the front desk when I had checked in (I didn't think then that I needed it), I called down to the front desk. I was greeted by name and was given the access information. Okay, now maybe I don't travel much, but this is the first time I have ever been greeted in such a friendly manner. Polite, yes, always, but staff here go that extra step of making you feel welcome. Normally when I'm away from home I have a difficult time sleeping and wondered if I should have chosen a room at the back instead as the room was facing the main road (I was advised this when I called in originally to make my reservation), but it turned out not to be an issue as I slept well after all. Even the walls and floors did not lend themselves to any sound coming from other rooms which made for an undisturbed and restful sleep. In the morning, as I awoke, I went over to and opened the small window the room had at the back to look out over the fountain and gardens of the inn. Even with an overcast sky it was beautiful to take in. If I am in need of another room in the area at next year's event of any other time int he future, I will not hesitate to book with Newmarket Inn again.…

Stayed here one night for a golf tournament in the area. Was very pleased with the room quality and neatness. Staff was very friendly and the rooms had recently been renovated. Was not far from Bradford or Newmarket either. Beds were very comfortable. Will consider this hotel again. And the prices were super reasonable compared to name brand hotels.

Needed a place to stay after a wedding and this Inn had the best price without cleanliness being an issue in the reviews. Wish it was cleaner though. Location: Within 5-mins drive from many plazas and restaurants. Cleanliness / Rooms / General Place: Definitely not the most attractive place from the outside. Inside is serviceable but very old-fashioned / dated - from carpets, drapes, bedsheets, furniture. There were noticeable stains on the chair and an ashtray was on the window ledge despite being a non-smoking room. I came late at night but I heard from my fiancee that there was a disgusting smell upon entering the first time in the afternoon. She left the windows open to air it out. Bathroom was clean though. Tub is small. Service: Check-in and check-out process was easy. No complaints. Value: Good enough for one night to sleep. Overall, may re-book if I only need a place to sleep the night. Otherwise, will probably raise my budget to look for a more modern facility.…
