Donald Trump is one of the most important political figures of the day and, arguably, the most important Republican in national politics. But many in the media have taken the historic step of censoring him. For that reason, one of our goals is to publish information about Trump that is otherwise difficult-to-find.
The verdict is in– and it’s split! Many observers say Trump “owned” CNN’s biased questioner during the cable news channel’s “town hall” discussion. Trump opponents expressed unhappiness that CNN gave Trump a platform he’s long been denied, via censorship, to answer questions without the media’s filter on the front end. And several high profile Trump opponents, such as Rick Wilson, commented that the appearance cemented Trump’s nomination to be the Republican’s candidate in 2024.

CNN spent a great deal of time off the top asking about the 2020 election and the events of January 6, 2021 at the US Capitol. In the first 15 minutes, one pre-scripted audience question was asked, and it was about 2020.
16:21 Trump rebuts the false narrative that he wasn’t telling protesters to be peaceful. He says he started urging peacefulness the day before. He also reads from the statement he issued during the protests.
22:40 The CNN host bizarrely claims, without evidence, “There weren’t any fraudulent votes in Wisconsin.”
23:10 Trump says he would consider pardoning “a large portion” of the people convicted in the January 6 Capitol riots. “You have two standards of justice to this country…They’re living in hell, right now.”
24:52 Trump speaks of his loss in the civil case over sexual abuse claims from decades ago, calling it “election interference.” “I don’t know her…I never met her…her cat was named ‘vagina’ but the judge wouldn’t allow that in… I never met this woman… this is a fake, made-up story…She’s a whack job.” Many in the audience chuckled as Trump recounted the accuser’s claims in his own words. Trump was not found guilty of the rape accusation. Trump says his attorneys told him not to testify because “it’s a fake story and you don’t want to give it credibility.” He also says he’s not sorry he declined to testify: “It wouldn’t have made any difference.”

1:08:25 As the hostess becomes increasingly aggressive, frequently interrupting with misinformation and biased opinions, Trump calls her “a nasty person” to the cheers of some in the crowd.

I saw a few highlights of this at a couple of other websites, and my impression is that it’s not what was said (by either Trump or his Inquisitor) that was as important as the simple fact that Trump doesn’t shy away from taking questions from ANYONE, including clear enemies, compared with Basement Joe, who (1) takes very few questions, (2) almost always selects a friendly questioner and has previewed the questions in advance, and (3) usually exits the stage promptly (after trying to shake hands with an imaginary person) to go hide in his basement for the rest of the week.
its so sad that the media has to hide the town hall from people because they didn’t like the result- instead of letting people see it to decide for themselves – they are going to report on it for everyone – because they are some how trusted… CNN hiding the coverage is causing everyone i know who isnt a trump backer or democrat to say they are hiding stuff – and it makes trump’s performance that much greater …. Hiding the record for people and only reporting on it does so much damage for transparency – kind of like what nazi germany did or soviet union – our media is much like it…
The CNN host wanted to DEBATE President Trump on almost everything he said. He job wasn’t to be a debater ‼️
