While the Silver Legacy Resort Casino boasts a welcoming atmosphere and a prime location that guests love for its proximity to Reno's offerings, some travelers caution about unexpected fees that may diminish the perceived value. The rooms are generally found to be clean and comfortable, with recent renovations adding to the appeal, however, issues with noise and inconsistent housekeeping have been noted. Mixed experiences with the service and amenities suggest that while some staff members are commendable, others may fall short, and certain expected features may be missing.

So here is from my xperience and from all my friends/family members experience with the Row. The chances o you winning is probably like 0.5%. Since like majority of the people loses. There is also another consideration and that is based on your status with them, for example, if you are Diamond then your chances of winning with them is higher than someone who is a platinum or gold. The reason why they have you open a Caesars rewards card is so that they can track you to see what were fall under. The best way to bet with them is to not use your Caesar's card since you are considered "New" or a stranger. If you use it then they will determine your chances based on your membership. There is a really good chance that everything that you win, you will lose it all back to them (Which is a 90% chance). I been to smaller casinos and they have a higher chance of winning. My family won more at smaller casinos than the Row, which is shocking since it is the exact same casino for the last couple of decades and they never really updated their casino so it is surprising that people have a hard time winning and even if you do win, you will lose heavily at The Row. I seen people lose over 1000(This is assuming that you bet small either at machines or tables) in 24 hours of place which is shocking since i can play at another casino that is closer and small and I can spend the same exact amount of time losing around 100-200. The last thing is tables in Reno minimal bet is around 25+ and there is no such thing as a 5 dollar blackjack that you would find in smaller casinos. If i am losing this much at a casino then they better remodel the whole infrastructure and since Reno hasn't really updated their infrastructure, I don't see the point in losing so much money. The Machines are all tampered with for the exact same progressive machine, I can hit chance for a jackpot 5 times the speed with 5 times less cost. In Reno, expect to spend a few hundred to a couple hundred to get 1 shot at a Jackpot for Machines because they set up the Machines to do that. I had a better chance at Atlantis or Peppermills than Reno. Reno is dying partially because the chance of winning is harder than other casinos and your best bet is Tables and not to mention the resort fees of over 30 dollars a night which is the highest of any resort fee that i seen. I usually see 10-15 maybe 20 dollars for resort fees and Renno is around 35. They say that it is for the pool or the Gym but really almost no one uses the Gym and the Pool is heavily bleached that you can smell it the moment you enter the pool

We stayed there from 3/14 to 3/22/23. On 3/19 between 9:30pm to 10:30pm someone from housekeeping went through our room without our permission. We told front desk and they said housekeeping supervisor said no one did, but I told them the person is lying. We had security check the door key card and they found proof that housekeeping came into our room unauthorized. Management has done nothing. I wouldn't stay there unless you want the housekeeping breaking into your room and going through your items.

The Silver Legacy reminds me of old Vegas. The casino is very very clean and so was our room. We even saw housekeeping sweeping the parking garage. We came in with a junket and were given a standard room and when we went to add a credit card to the room we were upgraded to a small suite. We were in room 2426 which is in the corner of the buildings so only a view of one side of Reno. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. We liked how the Silver Legacy was also connected to Circus Circus and El Dorado. Any staff that we encountered were very friendly. We most enjoyed the poker room, it is small but games are good and dealers are friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed for 3 nights in October using comp rooms that they had sent me via mailing flier. I was in a Player's Suite, I think it was called. It had a King size bed, and jacuzzi/tub in the room. The bathroom itself was also massive, with a huge shower. It was high up and had a view of the mountains. I was able to check-in early, which was very much appreciated! Got to take a quick nap before I went to check out the casino. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I am kind of picky about pillows, but the ones they had were great.

Hope next time I am back housekeeping will be more available. It was kind of weird requesting additional towels and having them be dropped off in a bag by the door. But, hey...we are living in COVID times. I was just happy to get away for a few days and gamble a bit. :)

Enjoyed my stay here very much! Keep sending me the comps, and I will surely be back again!

Got in late after a long day of travel. Went to take a shower and 30 seconds in, no water. It has been an hour now and still no water. After 3 calls, my husband was told there was a scheduled “water turn-off” but not for our floor so they don’t know how this even happened. We asked if we can move (the room smells stale and smoky so I wouldn’t have minded moving anyway) and they said they’d call back. Crickets. It’s now 1:00 am and we’re going to bed wishing we were somewhere else.

I had stayed at the silver legacy a few years ago and thought it would be a good vacation for December 2020 I did make the reservation and after I paid for the first night they asked me if I was arriving after 3pm to let them know. I then made the airline reservation I called back to let them know I will be arriving at 6pm. That was when I was told there is no airport shuttle. SHAME ON THEM the next day I cancelled the reservation since the executive office employee did not call me first thing in the morning. The cancellation took place around 1:45pm . I don't think that is first thing in the morning.

Pandemic has impacted employees and their customer service....rude , short and not friendly at all from the housekeepers to staff on casino floors. Thought we were doing housekeeper a favor by not having our room cleaned, when asking for towels was met with a very unfriendly glare. Bypassed in the main bar for another table that did not have masks...I guess our masks offended the non masked waitress. Restaurant choices slim

This was our second stay at the Silver Legacy this year. I thought the rooms were pretty and enjoyed the Keurig coffee maker with Starbuck pods is a nice touch. Room had a small refrigerator (and it was quiet). They had the worst pillows ever. The rooms are small but doable for 2. We drive from California and enjoy the parking garage instead of leaving the car out. It's convenient to the hotel. We arrived around 2:00 after a 5 hr+ drive. Went to check in and were told early check in is an extra $25, the room is ready and they couldn't give us the key until 3:00 unless we paid the $25 Really! We decided we would gamble for an hour with the $25 we would save. Went back at 2:56 and they said no you have to wait until 3:00 only a couple of minutes??? come on... so we stood there for the 4 minutes and then the line became very long and they only had 2 people working the desk. Yes they had on line check in but sometimes you may want to make a special request and need a live clerk. When we were there a few months ago we arrived at about the same time and they let us in. It really makes the start of your stay with a sour note. If the rooms are ready let us in. Some people arrive by air and had traveled for hours. I do like the facility and some of the restaurants. The slots are right but we expected that. I think next time we visit Reno we will try a different casino, many in line were stating they didn't do this at the Peppermill, Grand Sierra etc. It was a shame to start off with this nickel and dime treatment before you get to your room.

The Hotel & Casino were nice and seemed clean. It was Halloween weekend so come Friday it got busy. Bartenders at the Sports Bar and at the Dueling Piano bar were the worst!! So unattentive and could not get a drink while playing the poker machines for the life of us.

Our first night we were both sleeping and about midnight our room door opened, light flipped on....startling both of us awake and someone saying "Oh no...wrong room" and quickly exited. We we brought it up to the front desk Manager, she said that it was security that went in the wrong room and offered nothing but waiving the $35 resort fee for that night. Needless to say, we slept with one eye open the next 2 nights. Such a bummer to the trip.

Everything is so expensive, gone are the days of cheap food and drinks ($17 for a Bud Light and rum & diet.)

Food at El Jeffe was amazing!!

The Silver Legacy was a great older hotel in the Heart of Reno. The rooms were dated but clean. They had mini fridges and K-Cup style Coffee makers in the regular rooms and maid service each day if desired. The elevators are a bit slow during peak times but the Casino action makes up for it. There are 3 Casinos connected so you have your choice of adventure and food choices from the food court - inexpensive to fine dining - expensive. It is a bit of a maze to get around if its your first stay but when I could not find my way back to my room all the staff people I spoke with were very helpful and kind as I am directionally challenged and was in the El Dorado instead of the Silver Legacy elevators. I would book Silver Legacy again for our next trip out to Reno.
