- Sastry G1 contributionThis was perhaps one of the best guided tours we’ve ever taken as a group. Our driver was incredibly personable and very patient as we “tourist-ed” our way around mt. Fuji and its related areas. He bought my six person group snacks and drinks on the way to the mountain and even stopped at several scenic locations so that we could take pictures and videos!
It was only because of our driver that we saw as much of Fuji as we did. Without him, it would have taken hours of research and planning to find the cities, watchpoints, and attractions he knew like the back of his hand. This includes areas to shop, scenic viewing spots, seldom-visited areas by the lake, etc.

- Julie MBrookwood, UK16 contributionsWhat a treat! With the most spectacular views! This was honestly so relaxing with views over the city of Beppu. Nights are fairly busy but I also went at midday and i was one of 3 people there so just depends what you are looking for.

While the guide was Japanese, there was a "baito" student who functioned as a translator between the guide and me.
We cycled through busy and calm streets of Fukuoka and visited the remains of Fukuoka Castle, Ohori Park, a small and old candy shop, Shofuku-ji and Kushida Shrine.
The explanation was really interesting, the weather really nice and both the guide and the translator were really friendly. I cannot fault the communication with Hidenori Hikake, the person in charge of the bus company. He was efficient and very pleasant with his responses and gave me some great advice. He worked with us to put together such an awesome experience that we will never forget. We let him know what places we wanted to visit, dates of our travel, he then put an itinerary together adding so many hidden gems. We were shuttled around comfortably in a spacious van, took us to many off the beaten path locations. The local style lunches and drinks also included were so delicious. His commentary and knowledge of the areas visited made our visit made for everlasting memories. Miyuki showed me the highlights of Hakata that I would not have seen or appreciated had I been alone. We stopped for an amazing lunch and I learned so much. - Nathy ANiagara Falls, NY5 contributionsMr. Takaya was a very nice man who took us to this destination. He was very interested in getting to know us and he was delightful. We learned a lot and we had a great time. The boat ride was calming and wonderful and we got to experience a different side of Japan. He also helped us buy tickets we needed for the express bus to another location.
