Cy Fair is a great school once you look past the monthly fights and backed up hallways.
All my teachers have done an amazing job at teaching me what I know, but I would like to specifically mention the color guard director. She pulled together a group of 30-something kids my freshman year, and made us a family. I am sincerely grateful for all the hard work she’s put in and all the sacrifices she made for us (like when she moved from Indiana just to teach us).
I would also like to mention the Teaching and Training program. I’m only in my second year of it, and I’ve made everlasting friendships with both my peers and the teachers running it. I’ve truly found my calling to be an educator in the near future, and I hope I get to return to Cy Fair when I do begin my teaching journey.
Flaws and all, Cy Fair will forever hold a special place in my heart. I owe a lot to everyone who’s made me who I am today, and most of them came from, currently go to, or teach at Cy Fair.

It has been a pleasure speaking with other students my age, not only have they become friends I can count on, but someone I look forward to seeing in the future. My teachers were always friendly and taught me life lessons that I cherish so dearly. It was a confusing labyrinth of shoulder pushing and loud chatter on the first week of freshmen year that I thought would never end. After a week, everything improved. Having lunch with my friends and chatting about topics or drama that stirred up in school was my favorite part of the day. While the food wasn't the best (it can still be improved), it was fun to laugh and talk about. These will be memories I will look back to.
Cy-Fair High School, while having its flaws, allows students to individually prosper and explore career opportunities. I haven’t had any HORRIBLE interactions with staff, but they do not present themselves as welcoming. Their priorities are also scattered, so I believe they should really work on that.
