what are some movie scenes with Mozart - lacrimosa
i heard this song on tiktok and it triggered a half rememberence of a movie scene in my head but i can’t remember the movie or scene lol and i really wanna know what i’m thinking of. i think it was like a big twist or towards the end of the movie or something and for some reason i think i remember micheal fassbender
Venom, Let There Be Carnage, the Red Wedding scene.
I know I’m coming in hot on a two year old comment. My bad. But there’s no way they play Mozart in The Red Wedding. That’s the Rains of Castamere.
I'm also late to the party, but I think he is saying it's the red wedding scene from venom 2? Is that a thing? I can't remember that movie except for venom's me2pledge
Yes
Come and See, a Soviet Movie about WW2.
Just finished it. Wow. It's hard to put into words just how great and haunting that film is.
this scene in The Big Lebowski

This was the movie I was thinking of thank you!!!
Thank you! Man that was bugging me, I heard it in a playlist
He’s in seclusion in the west wing…
Thank you! I just heard this song in the incredible, haunting, exceptionally horrific WW2 film Come & See, quite possibly the greatest war film (anti-war) ever made, but couldn't place where I heard it before.
that’s what i was think of!! truly the best but most haunting movie i’ve seen
YES!! It's that's the one, The Big Lebowski!! THANK YOU!! It was driving me crazy.

Inception maybe?
It's not quite a movie but there's a scene in the game bioshick infinite with the song in it
Primal Fear maybe? (It has Richard Gere & Edward Norton, not Michael Fassbender, though)
I know this post is 118 days old but I also just heard it in a tik tok video and it’s triggering a memory of a movie. None of the ones listed here are ringing a bell and it’s driving me nuts! I think it may be Inception but when you mentioned Michael fassbender it made me think that it may not be inception. Ughh these kinds of things drive me insane
okay so i dont care how long ago this post was, i just figured out which movie i remembered this being in and i finally figured it out. its X2. i hope ive saved you the torment
specifically the opening scene with nightcrawler
I actually figured it out too! It was from watchmen (the series), which I had just watched the night before . The number of movies with this piece in it is insane. It’s like every single movie ever lol.
Lmao dude I know! I had to google a full accounting list of movies/tv shows that use Mozart music in the soundtrack and search for all instances of Requiem just to figure out where I'd heard it, and still even then there over 200 instances.
I just heard this and have been searching for 20 mins to try figure out where I recognise it from, thank you sir
Lmao you’re not the first person to find this comment while trying to figure out the song. It’s in soooo many movies and shows, it’s pretty wild.

For me it was Watchmen (the hbo series) but the piece itself is in literally hundreds of movies.
Lords of Salem by Rob Zombie, final scene
I’m pretty sure the movie Revolver? Could be wrong, but I think that movie uses it.

Lucy
Turkish show avlu/ the yard I love it so much
The only thing that comes to mind is the phantom troupe theme
Venom 2
Did you ever find the movie? It's also been used in commercials too. One i notably remember was a commercial for a cleaning product. It was going in slow motion i think kids and dog were running in the house and you see dirt everywhere
scene of murder of arch bishop in "primal fear".
This video has a good compilation of uses, while giving a little context on why it’s so recurring in audiovisual arts
