Greenhouse Academy spoilers below.

Greenhouse Academy follows three working-class students who win an elite boarding school scholarship where they encounter everything from an evil organisation to an extraterrestrial virus. And you thought your school sucked!

Since season four wrapped, show runner Giora Chamizer has taken on a new project called Sky, but he's still excited for more Greenhouse Academy, telling Decider:

"I would love Netflix to renew our show… All I can say is that I have tons of stories ready for two more seasons, and I would be thrilled to write them. The ball is totally in Netflix’s corner. As far as I’m concerned, we would be shooting more seasons the day this epidemic is over."

Until Netflix officially renew Greenhouse Academy, it's unclear when season five will reach our homes. Since the show started in 2017, a new season has been released every year, but fans might have to wait longer for season five.

Not only is Chamizer currently working on another show called Sky, but the recent delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic could complicate things further, which means new episodes might not arrive until late 2021 at the earliest.

At the end of season four, our loveable students managed to overpower an evil group of men who tried to release a virus in the school.

It wasn't all good news though. In the final scene, viewers discovered that the organisation is led by none other than Jason Osmond, son of Greenhouse Academy’s headmaster, Louis Osmond.

In fact, most of the evil shenanigans our heroes have faced are all because of Jason's alter-ego, which is known simply as The Client. Expect to learn more about how these developments came about in season five, including a potential confrontation with the students head-on.
