Watch 2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team - Crunchyroll
After everything that’s happened, can the ace pair be reunited? Genius setter Kimichika Haijima and team ace Yuni Kuroba were a duo on and off the volleyball court. But at the last tournament of middle school, the two begin fighting and end their friendship. Now in high school, they are forced to meet on the same side of the net. They’ll need to work things out if they want a chance at Nationals.
SO glad Crunchyroll bought funimation so more more people can enjoy this lil anime no comparing just good vibes with a lil drama

very interesting & profound sports anime
I am pretty sure most of us who watch this expects that this show will somewhat be like Haikyu. It is not the same I would say but this show has its own touch and greatness. I love the melodramatic touch to this. The pacing is pretty fast yet you can easily go with it. The characters are very effective and you can love them all. The sports aspect is also intense. I am really looking forward to more seasons of this. Highly recommended.

More a slice of life than a sport anime
I want to love this series, because I love sport anime. The team building, the competition, the struggle to be great. This series has almost none of that. There is no obvious team building. Any competition comes toward the end of the season (which I can't make through. Writing this review at ep 8). The only thing this series touches on is the struggle to be great - and there is a lot of potential there - but none of that given a true arc to play through. It's all just lightly touched on. I can't tell what each of the characters want. They all seem to have this vague goal of going to the spring tournament, but there isn't an arc that show what they're willing to do to achieve this goal. It comes across more like a slice of life anime than sport anime, and I'm not a big fan of slice of life stories... so this one is not for me. But if you're into such fusion, maybe you'll love it.

Did Not Finish
I wanted to love it, I really did. Even without me comparing it to Haikyuu, this series is full of issues. The towel was thrown in midway through episode 4 or 5, if these characters could open their mouths and tell the truth, maybe I'd have survived. In the end, everyone was unpleasant and I couldn't force the issue, even how spiteful I am couldn't make me push through.
