Narbonne High School over the years has become a more involved school with more diversity in the classes available for student to take. Some of the new classes that where added into our school have brought a different way for students to earn there visual arts credit by joining folklorico, mariachi and even a mural painting class. Along with the amazing work that the student body makes to host fun and engaging student events they also help students find a path for there future by encouraging students to take advanced classes and other college level courses and classes that are offered at the school.
Narbonne is very dedicated to their students and the staff and faculty are always finding ways to push students to be great and further their academics. Being apart of the S.T.E.A.M Magnet program gives me more resources to be apart of more activities and I get more one on one attention. The school is also appreciative of giving effort in classes and they reward God behavior a lot. There are some fights and it does have a negative impact on students because it affects everyone. The faculty is very nice to students and they are very welcoming to me.
I generally like my school however the staff have a nasty attitude towards students most days. There has been times I've let disrespected by the way they've spoken to me just for being younger than them. I would also like to see the bathrooms changed. The bathrooms are never stocked with toilet paper or paper towels which seems necessary. There have also been multiple times ALL bathrooms were closed during the passing period and during class.
The school itself is good. Has helped my daughter decide on a career choice & what to do before graduating and after graduation. The teachers have been very helpful with her.
The school is great but the kids are not good they need to behave and get maybe psychologist help for the students who get into fights
The school and people are great. Though lunch here is lacking on how good they are. Lots of conflicts with students on students and even students with teachers that happen somewhat often.
best parts is how there are many caring teachers who care for your future and are willing to write a letter of recommendation. worst part is the facilities feel small
Narbonne was what you made out of it. If you tried to succeed then you would. The best part was meeting my friends and the worst part was seeing fights at the school a lot. Changes do need to be made. I’ve heard the principal is making a lot of changes but I no longer attend the school since I graduated.
My experience at Narbonne High School has been mixed feelings that are mainly mediocre. Now being a junior at school I’ve felt out of place, exhausted, and burnt out. Although I’ve had glimpses of good memories here and there, this hasn’t been enough to boost any experience. I love learning about new things and challenging myself to have better skills in every subject. And I know that sounds like something a nerd would say but I believe that everyone person should feel this way about their education. The atmosphere is very dry and exhausting making most days very hard to be motivated about school. The school spirit is very low, students don’t care about school, and don’t even feel welcomed. Compared to other schools in the area, there’s no community where everyone looks out for each other. Generations of past students pouring into the school because they’ve enjoyed their experience, made life long friends, and found something they can be a part of. This is what Narbonne needs to be!!
Narbonne was like one's first love. It's all butterflies and dreams and fairy tales until you look back on it years later and reminisce the bland and stale relationship you were once apart of. Going to Narbonne was a hassle; alumni's can relate. Like a double-edged sword, it has its ups and downs. Though this statement is true for all students of the past. Nevertheless, 7/10 for the most part. And that's being generous.
It's really nice the school is so big and the students and teachers are really friendly. The classes are very easy to understand and very educational.
For my first full experience of high school, I love the school. Im in the STEM Magnet program which i like because the teacher are very helpful. I like how the staff and teacher want students to succeed in life.
The best part at narbonne is that the teacher care about you to past the class and hep you with any thing you need help with
The best parts of my experience at Narbonne was being able to make friends that I kept throughout all four years of high school and had fun with. Also I found a lot of staff members who were helpful and supportive in trying to make me become successful inside and outside of school. The worst part of my experience was not feeling like I got to experience high school properly because of Covid-19. After that, school was no longer the same and they did not put enough effort into bringing all of our previous activities back properly.
This was a nice school, while there lots of my teacher were very strict, it was because they cared about us to have good grades and there were even teachers that were kind and genuinely caring. Some of the things I would like to see change are less fights during lunch.
Narbonne academics is good if you want to enroll in a program. My program has allowed me to get good grades and better my future.
Narbonne is a good school, with great staff and a good administration. Over the years I’ve seen this school change completely, it is much more safer, responsible, and has a great school environment which is positively effective. They offer so many different programs and resources, you will most likely find something you like, and if you don’t, you will be given the opportunity to make one. Again great and hard working staff, and a great athletics program. The rebuild of this school is honestly from God. Again good school, students have the opportunity to learn and have their voices heard. I pray the school will continue to get better from here, and the administration is great again. They’ll do anything to make sure the school and its students are safe, protected, and heard.
