So install Origin on your PC
In a few steps, you can install Origin on your Computer. We will show you how to do it.
- Download Origin at CHIP download. To do this, click on "Download" then "Download-Server CHIP Online".
- You can open the Download with a double click and confirm the security message if necessary.
- Select the desired destination folder and make them to the desired mark. You can create a Desktop shortcut. It is useful to remove the check mark from "Origin automatically on Windows Start" run, because the PC-Start takes otherwise longer.
- Then click Install - this may take several minutes.
- Then accept the license agreement by checking the check box. Confirm with "Ok". Origin is now updated if necessary.

So you create an account with Origin
Log in with your E-Mail address or Origin ID and enter your password. You use Origin for the first Time, you need to create an account. How to do it, we'll show you here:
- Click on "create account".
- Enter your country and your date of birth and select "Continue".
- Enter your E-Mail address, you can specify a password and the security question. Then click on the "create account".
- You can now Refine your data by following the steps below, or skip this step.
- Using your data, you can now login. Remember to activate your account. You will receive an E-Mail.
