After years of success as a toy line and animated series, the colorful ponies are hitting the big screen in a new feature film, My Little Pony: The Movie.
The film follows six magical ponies as they go on a quest to save their beloved home and, along the way, encounter everything from dangerous foes to newfound friends.
In addition to the original voice cast, some of the familiar voices who have been recruited to join in on the adventure include Zoe Saldana, Emily Blunt and Kristin Chenoweth.
Ahead of the movie's release Friday, check out which stars are giving voice to the film's characters below.

Tara Strong
Tara Strong reprises her role as Twilight Sparkle, loyal leader to her pack of ponies as they journey to the end of Equestria to save her hometown. Strong has had voice roles in several other television series, from Timmy in The Fairly OddParents to various voices in the animated film Sing.

Andrea Libman
Andrea Libman voices Pinkie Pie, the party-loving pony, and Fluttershy, the animal advocate of the group. Libman is the voice for Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy in the original animated series My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and is known for her previous work in Dragon Ball Z, Strawberry Shortcake and Monster Buster Club.

Kristin Chenoweth
Kristin Chenoweth, from the hit Broadway show Wicked, voices Princess Skystar, an outgoing Seapony who befriends Twilight Sparkle and her gang. Chenoweth is no stranger to the animated world as she voiced various characters in the feature films Rio 2 and The Peanuts Movie.

Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana, whose credits include Guardians of the Galaxy, Avatar and Star Trek, will make a guest appearance as pirate parrot Captain Celaeno. Saldana reprises her role as Neytiri in the upcoming Avatar sequels, the first of which hits theaters in 2020.

Emily Blunt
Emily Blunt, whose credits include The Girl on the Train and Devil Wears Prada, voices Tempest Shadow, a broken-horned unicorn with a dark past. Blunt next appears in the sequel for Disney's classic Mary Poppins, where she takes on Julie Andrew's iconic role as the beloved nanny.

Ashleigh Ball
Applejack, the sweet apple-farming pony, and thrill-seeker Rainbow Dash are voiced by actress and rock singer Ashleigh Ball. Ball is also responsible for various voices in the animated series Littlest Pet Shop, Johnny Test and Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures. Her voice also can be heard as a singer in the Canadian rock band Hey Ocean!

Tabitha St. Germain
Tabitha St. Germain reprises her role as the voice of Rarity, the fashionista and aspiring designer in the group. St. Germain is known for her voice roles in Littlest Pet Shop and Captain Flamingo.

Cathy Weseluck
Cathy Weseluck reprises her role as Spike, the baby dragon, who acts as Twilight Sparkle's trusty assistant. Weseluck is known for her voice work in Dragon Ball Z and Ranma 1/2.

Liev Schreiber
Schreiber voices the menacing rule The Storm King, who threatens to destroy Equestria. Schreiber is no stranger to playing the villain as he portrayed superhuman villain Sabretooth in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He also played leading roles in Spotlight, Salt and the Scream trilogy and stars in the TV series Ray Donovan.

Michael Pena
Michael Pena voices Grubber, henchman and right-hand man to The Storm King. Pena has starred in several hit films, including The Martian, Fury, and American Hustle, and will also appear in the upcoming Marvel film Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Sia
Sia's voice will give life to pegasus pop star Songbird Serenade. The singer, known for her reluctance to show her face as well as her viral music videos, has performed and written songs for several animated films, including Sing, Zootopia, and Finding Dory, and contributed a song to My Little Pony: The Movie.

Taye Diggs
Digs joins the cast as Capper, a humanoid cat and seasoned con artist. The actor has appeared in TV series including Empire and Private Practice.

Uzo Aduba
Queen Novo, voiced by Uzo Aduba, is Queen of SeaEquestria and mother to Princess Skystar. Aduba is known for her role as Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren in the television series Orange Is the New Black.
