The setting (Copenhagen) and being a Finnish produced film garner additional interest. Nice to see other locations rather than the usual scenery.. but it needed more than canals, boats and bicycles..
The perplexing absurdity of numerous characters made continued viewing impossible. The female leads were particularly problematic, that said at least two male characters were right up there too.
There was no build up of suspense or anything close, just quite a bit "what was that all about?", "Really??" "Is it me or is this really dull?"..
It became so laborious we decided to stop watching after half way through. Neither myself or my husband being the least interested in the fate of any of the characters despite giving it our best shot.
.
If you're looking for a film where things plod along slower than snail's pace and most of the characters are so awful you don't care what happens to them, then this is the film for you.
You'll feel like you've been in a trance.. a very very boring trance.. Otherwise don't waste an hour (or more) of your viewing time.
