She tans… ALOT
Is that said in the episode?
I believe George says a line like “she tans too much” or something about her skin. “She’s too tan.” - and living in NYC, you’re not getting tan from the great weather lol has to be tanning salons, which were big in the 90s.
Probs taking tanning tips from the K-Man
I don't see a man, I see a damn fool!!
White
manboyI thought you said you were bringing a white boy home!
White boy
Ah so she uses butter, that explains it.
Poise! Poise!!
Been slathering on that butter
She was in Maine for a couple days.
I don’t think we’re supposed to be talking about this
Tan everywhere
Costan everywhere.
She was visiting her sister in Scottsdale.
Scottsdale? I spent a month there one night.
I love that line
Scottsdale huh? How was it?
Very sunny
Family's important.
Hee Hee
Jan everywhere.
That's what's so vexing
She scooped the niblets?
Yes! And her peas.
Ileana rocks
She used tanning as a way to cope with the trauma after Tommy died in Goodfellas
Tanning vouchers were also included with the cosmetic surgery after Max Cady ate her face in Cape Fear.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I see... a nipple
She has tan hands
She goes to the tanning salon too much. Some people did that back in the 90s.
Some of them still do it
She'd been in Maine.
She was visiting her sister.... in Scottsdale.
Jan Levinson-Gould
Maybe she thought she was in Friends
I remember her in goodfellas.
She’s orange in other things she’s been in as well.
Do you have some particular confusion as to why she is this color?
What other explanations are there other than she tans too much? George mentions it. And even if this wasnt the case, what other explanation is there?
I was half asleep when I rewatched the episode last night and was just wondering whether we are meant to assume she is tanned or whether they directly explain it in episode.
I also find it hard to believe that George’s “standards” would even allow him to date a woman who looked so...weird.
But that doesnt answer my question. Is there some other way a person can become orange than from tanning that you thought maybe would be an explanation?
If not, then Im not really sure where the confusion comes from.
There could be, snd I was hoping to find out what it was if not tanning, hence my question.
George says shes too tan, and its implied that she just does artificial tanning of some kind. Clearly they made her extra "orange" for comedic purposes.
There is no other reason someone would look like that that I am aware of.
I think it's an homage to her role in To Die For. That's what I've always assumed, anyway.
Now, why she was so orange in To Die For I can't remember. I hope they explained it. I remember being mesmerized and slightly annoyed by it throughout the whole movie.
She's gold Jerry, gold!
😂😂😂😂😂
She's a tall Oompa-Loompa.
I always thought she was very pretty
Still needs a lot of coverup makeup after being so viciously beaten in Cape Fear.
Another nip.
I heard she rides her tractor in her bathing suit
And that you call a tractor story??!!!
Does she have a good cheek?
Off topic, but I always thought she and Jeff Goldblum would be a weirdly perfect couple.
Long Island stereotype
My rods and Cones are too messed up to notice... yet if she likes tanning beds, it is not like there's anything wrong either with that or the menage A Troix for george (not neither with the velvet episode guy)..George... he just needs Nora to turn her key, turn your key Nora !!
😂😂😂😂😂
So. Many. References.
She’s Tan Mom before she was famous 😂😂😂😂😂
Dating The Donald
Donald Trump is her father
😂😂😂
Ugliest character of the show
Awful episode that needs to be forgotten
She looks like a carrot!
I’m watching this episode right now and it’s always totally stumped me, I mean she’s straight up ORANGE. I googled it and ended up here. Still no answers…
Addison's disease can cause darkening of the skin pigmentation.
