This is a question we are getting more and more frequently from our Instagram Feed users. The short answer is yes (in more than one way, in fact), but there are certain things for you to consider.
First, it is important to respect Instagram users' privacy. Second, you do not want to violate Instagram's terms of service, but there are ways you can try.
I should also mention that nothing is 100% foolproof, but these are three ways I know of to view Stories anonymously.
1. Create a “Finsta”
Some people choose to create a secondary, anonymous account to view Instagram Stories and Reels. This method keeps your main account private but requires managing another account.
This is the oldest and most common method. I assume the first person to do it was probably someone trying to discover if their partner was cheating, but no one knows for sure.

Finsta stands for a fake Instagram account. It is a second account you would create to mask who you truly are, allowing you to browse Instagram without anyone knowing it is you.
2. Turn on Airplane Mode
I discovered this method not that long ago, and it seems to work just fine. After loading Stories on your device with an internet connection, switch your device to airplane mode so you can view the Stories offline.
Once viewed, close the Instagram app before going online again. This method might not be fully reliable due to Instagram's caching and updating policies.
3. Use a Third-Party Website or App
I've looked into and tested both of these websites and they work well, but be aware when using them. I have to disclose that they could pose risks to your privacy and security and perhaps violate Instagram's terms of service. Do your own research first.
