Nice bar with a large variety of beers and reasonable prices for Rio. The service was great and food was excellent. Highly recommend this place. One of the best caipirinhas and snacks we have had in Rio.

Stopped off for a couple of beers on the last night. Really lively bar, full of character and obviously popular as it was really busy. They do also serve food.

I had a beer, my friend had a coke. Ordered rice- and bean balls, dont remember the proper name. Worst thing we've ever had. Not fast service, although the pub only was half full. Good help picking out a lokal beer, but thats pretty much...it. Ok place for some snacks (I think), beers and football.More

After a bad dinner experience with a tourist trap restaurant on the beach front, my companion and I were searching for a decent beer to wash down the experience. We found Os Imortais and went there for dinner on the following three evenings.... This place...has a really excellent selection beers -- both Brazilian and international. The list of Brazilian microbrews in the beer menu of Os Imortais is stunning. They don't always have all of them in stock, but when we asked for my favourite (Therezopolis Jade, a really stunning IPA), they made some very helpful suggestions -- and they had some bottles the next evening. Looking for a great place for beer and food, we stumbled into Os Imortais. We were greeted by a waitress that spoke perfect English, which helped getting beer and food. We met a lot of Americans already there. Olympics on the TV's. Had the best...burger and coldest beer in Brazil. Great place to meet all the people from all over the world. People were spilling out of the bar into the street. Just a great place.More

Went on a Monday night: packed with a few hanging in front waiting on tables. Friendly staff who tolerate non-natives well: comprehensive beer options including many Brazilian varieties not readily available. Back two streets from beach, so more locals than 'touristas', which is another bonus....Solid food: good choice to sit and watch neighborhood life go by!More

Great atmosphere, and amazing beer selection. The staff was also knowledgeable, and offered great suggestions. We enjoyed the sausages. Kept finding ourselves back there for a nightcap.
