I had a great experience at this school early college program. They make sure we are ready for college and provide college readiness classes for us. We always have a great experience at this school. What I would like to see change at this school is their view on how we are in their eyes. They view us as if we are babies who can’t take care of ourselves, but we are well-aware that we are capable of finding things out ourselves.
I attend another school that is a division of Memorial High School. This school is called Woodrow Wilson High School Early College. Here, I have both high school and college experience. We don't really have that many clubs, but they do provide fun events. For instance, each club will have fundraisers or even create events for us to celebrate cultures and holidays. Overall, the school is filled with a diverse population, and there is a small number of students. I believe having fewer students in the classroom helps teachers educate students better one-on-one. I have created memorable events in these schools with my friends. One thing that I enjoy that is included in my school is dress-up days. Though at times there are issues because the work load feels too much, we are given tips and hacks on how to better use our time. Additionally, in my school, there are SI leaders who teach us important information to study for our college classes.
In my opinion, the best parts of this school would be how diverse it is. I can't really see much that needs to change with the school. I'm on my senior year and I haven't had a single problem with anything. The staff treats us right and treat us how we would want to be treated.
