Ferry Corsten – Blueprint

Love the box set and all the different versions of the album but I don't like how the Audiobook was separated from the music. Still cool to have but I actually prefer the original narrative version like the videos on this page.

Personally I love both versions of this album. It would be awesome if both the Narrative and Non Narrative versions were pressed on translucent blue. One with white smoke, the other with black smoke.

Originally, I bought the 2CD version of this album. Loved it so much, I immediately bought the Ltd edition box set version (Flashover Box 02). The Bly-Ray hi-fidelity disc sounds stunning on a quality sound system.

This album is like a modern Trance take on the legendary “War Of The Worlds” musical/album.

Didn't know that this CD had talking before each track. Had I known that I never would have bought it.. Just buy Eternity [which is a beautiful track] on a digital download and take a pass on this CD.

dont listen to these brain dead morons saying the narration spoils the album ,, the whole point from ferry was the narration its a great album and the narration adds to the whole musical emotional experience as was intended by the creator of this masterpiece

When i first listened to this album i was a bit septic due to the narrative and dialogue voices, nevertheless i was caught by surprise by the contrast between the songs and the dialogues which actually works well and provides a lift up feeling to the songs. Also i´m very impressed how this album ends to be one of best Ferrry Corten releases(in my opinion), there are plenty beautiful touching songs in this release with captivating vocals by Haliene (what a sweet voice), also Eric lumiere has a strong presence in his collaboration. And off course a touch of Gouryella is always welcome. My favourite songs in the cd1 are: "Something To Believe In" and "Edge Of The Sky" and in cd2: "Piece Of You" and "Wherever You Are".

I LOVE Ferry... always have. But all this talking between tracks!? And not having it tracked so you can skip the talking the second, third time thru is ridiculous. Ruins the vibe. The tracks themselves are great of course, but the story, its like a cutscene in a video game, and you have to hear it EVERYTIME you play the cd. Good idea, but seriously missed the mark.

I found Blueprint to be very enjoyable. Trance and Sci-Fi tend to fit together very well. This is reminiscent of Oakenfold's Urban Soundtrack essential mix series from the early 2000's. If you approach this album for the perspective that it will tell a story and use music to move it along, you will enjoy it.

This is one of the best albums I've listened ... like ever! And I listened a lot! The way it's constructed, the story it tells, the songs, each of them very good, pure trance. I simply love it!
