Although Leon already lived in Los Angeles, he became one of Larry's new roommates and stayed even after Loretta left. Shortly following the release of the Curb Your Enthusiasm series finale, Netflix dropped all ten episodes of the animated series Good Times, a reboot of the 1974 sitcom of the same name, on April 12, 2024. JB Smoove stars as Reggie Evans, the patriarch of the central family, in the cast of Good Times, making it an obvious watch for those who are already missing seeing Smoove on their screens (even though he is portrayed in an animated format in the newer show).

Good Times is not only the perfect watch following Curb Your Enthusiasm's ending because it stars JB Smoove, but also because it features Wanda Sykes.

Even though Good Times isn't receiving great reviews after its debut on Netflix (it has a 17 percent Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes), the animated series is trending on the streaming service. Sykes starred as herself in nine episodes of the HBO sitcom (with her final appearance in season 8 in 2011), and she voices Ms. Likeigiveashit, Junior's teacher, in the animated series. Good Times reunites Smoove and Sykes after they costarred in Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is exciting, even if Sykes has a minimal role in the Netflix show.

All ten episodes of Good Times are available to stream on Netflix, while Curb Your Enthusiasm can be found on Max, and the original Good Times series is streaming on Peacock.
